Property Land Facts

More than 85 percent of real properties in Aruba are public properties (owned by the Government).

A portion of these properties are given out by the Government as right of long leases on a land lot for a period of 60 years for the construction there upon of a dwelling.

The land lots sold in Gold Coast, in contrast, are private properties, meaning you will own the legal title of the property which will be legally registered under your name in the central registry for an indefinite period.

In terms of market preference in Aruba, private property land is always best and long lease property land second best.
